What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Substitute Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor include, but are not limited to: Delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab settings. Supporting student growth through mentoring, regular feedback, and individualized success planning. Ensuring your curriculum stays current and aligned with real industry expectations. Partnering with fellow instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain a high-quality learning experience. Leading by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness. Demonstrating safety skills and the ability to use and maintain industry-related hand and power tools. Interacting with high school students, parents, business and industry representatives, and the general public in a professional manner. Your Impact Matters You'll be a key part of helping students: Master essential technical and professional skills. Successfully complete their training. Earn industry credentials or licensure. Launch into meaningful employment in their field. You won't just be teaching—you'll be shaping the futures of your students.

Successful candidates will have:
Education:
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in the Electrical industry.
Industry Credentials & Certifications:
Must be a licensed Journeyman Electrician or have comparable skills and experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Experience with Canvas and curriculum development is a plus.
Organizational Abilities:
Strong skills in communication, time management, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities. Attention to
