The Electrical Helper will assist electricians with electrical duties, working at construction sites, businesses and residences. This is a full time position. Hours are Monday through Thursday; usually 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime, weekends or change of hours may occur. We are looking to fill roles in our Commercial & Service divisions.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in installing electrical systems
• Install lighting, electrical outlets and circuit breakers
• Drill holes and pull/push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools
• Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace parts and reassemble
• Perform labor duties related to installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Pay great attention to safety precautions
• Work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs

Requirements:

• Ability to work well with a team
• Ability to use electrical and hand tools
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Capable of lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and work overhead
