Lhoist North America , a leading supplier of lime, limestone, and mineral products across the North American marketplace, is seeking an Industrial Electrician/Plant Electrician to join the team in the Calera, AL area. If you have at least 3 years of industrial electrician experience , Lhoist wants to hear from you! Previous heavy manufacturing and/or mining experience is a plus but not required. Schedule :
Enjoy a rotating 4-10 schedule, Monday - Thursday for one week and then Tuesday - Friday the next week. One on-call week per month. Competitive compensation , based upon your experience.

Essential duties/responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical and instrumentation systems on plant operating equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Diagnose electrical, control, and instrumentation issues and take timely corrective action to minimize unplanned downtime. Support plant reliability objectives by contributing to improvements in equipment availability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules, procedures, and safety standards. Install, test, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation components, including sensors, motors, drives, control panels, and related systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC documentation, and equipment manuals to support maintenance and repair activities. Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company policies, and safety and quality standards. Document work completed, equipment conditions, and corrective actions in maintenance management and reporting systems. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to prevent recurring equipment failures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping and safety expectations. Actively participate in company‑sponsored training, certification, and skill‑development programs to maintain technical proficiency and meet evolving standards. Collaborate effectively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support plant objectives. Perform all duties in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.
