Job Description

Journeyman Electrician Job Summary We are looking for a skilled, dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. Our work includes commercial, residential, and industrial electrical projects throughout Baldwin County and Mobile County , with a strong focus on quality workmanship and excellent customer service. We are looking for more than technical ability. We want someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to work, can take initiative without constant supervision, and values honesty, integrity, and doing the job right . Great communication is a cornerstone of our business. We believe customers should feel informed, respected, and confident in the work being done in their home or business. The right candidate will be comfortable communicating with customers, working independently, collaborating with a team, and representing our company professionally on every job. This is a field-based position , and employees will typically report directly to assigned jobsites throughout Baldwin and Mobile Counties. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to jobsites within our service area are required. Responsibilities Perform electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in commercial, residential, and industrial settings Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, schematics, and specifications Install conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, equipment, devices, and other electrical systems Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify safe, effective solutions Perform new construction, renovation, service, and repair work as assigned Ensure all work meets NEC requirements, local electrical codes, and company standards Follow OSHA requirements and established safety procedures Properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other electrical equipment Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the job Explain electrical issues, recommended solutions, and completed work in a way customers can easily understand Keep customers informed about the status of their project and what they can expect next Provide a professional, respectful customer experience from arrival through completion of the job Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other team members Take ownership of assigned work and follow through on commitments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Arrive at assigned jobsites on time and prepared to work Qualifications Journeyman-level electrical experience Experience in commercial electrical work strongly preferred Residential and/or industrial electrical experience is a plus Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites throughout Baldwin and Mobile Counties Ability to perform the physical requirements of electrical construction and service work What We Value Technical skills matter, but character and communication matter just as much to us .
