Role Overview:
We are searching for a skilled Service Electrician to manage diverse residential electrical projects. Your daily responsibilities will involve troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical infrastructure while strictly adhering to safety protocols and industry codes. You will be expected to identify faults, implement effective fixes or upgrades, and maintain clear communication with homeowners regarding their electrical needs. Success in this position requires a blend of technical proficiency, sharp problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to providing top-tier customer service.
Your Core Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems to restore full functionality for our clients. Ensure the reliable performance of electrical infrastructure by installing, repairing, and maintaining wiring, switches, outlets, and breakers. Improve the customer experience by clearly explaining electrical issues and offering tailored repair or replacement solutions. Maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by safely managing the physical demands of the role, including climbing, lifting, and navigating confined spaces. Support the integrity of electrical systems by installing branch circuits, disconnects, whips, and other essential accessories. Utilize your expertise in trade tools and materials to ensure they are handled and maintained correctly. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by ensuring all installations meet local, state, and national electrical codes. Complete other tasks as requested by management.
Professional Requirements:
Possession of a Journeyman or Master Electrical License. Between 3 and 5 years of hands-on experience in residential electrical work. A valid driver's license paired with a clean driving history. Demonstrate a positive mindset and a dedication to achieving high-quality results for our clients. Foster strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Showcase your ability to work collaboratively as a flexible and creative team member. Apply advanced critical thinking to resolve complex electrical challenges effectively. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by meeting the physical requirement of lifting up to 50 lbs. Physical Demands of the
Position:
Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Perform tasks such as climbing ladders, entering crawlspaces or attics, driving, and executing detailed manual work. Maintain a valid driver's license for travel. Work across various settings, including indoor areas, outdoor sites, attics, and crawlspaces. Maintain the ability to stand, walk, sit, and communicate verbally or via telephone. Use hands for fine motor tasks, handling controls, and reaching. Regularly perform movements such as kneeling, bending, stooping, and crouching. Work in diverse weather conditions, including exposure to extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow.
