Residential Lead Electrical Technician Job Type Full-Time Monday-Friday Overtime Available Pay $22.00-$32.00 per hour (Pay based on experience, productivity, leadership ability, and licensing.) About Us Electrum, LLC is a growing electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, service, and remodel customers throughout Alabama. We are looking for a motivated Residential Lead Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who can manage residential projects, lead apprentices, communicate with customers, and maintain Electrum's standards of excellence. Position Summary The Residential Lead Technician will be responsible for overseeing and performing residential electrical installations, service work, troubleshooting, remodels, and new construction projects. This individual must be capable of working independently, reading plans when necessary, directing apprentices, and representing the company professionally. Responsibilities Lead residential electrical projects from start to finish Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems Perform service calls and diagnose electrical issues Complete residential new construction rough-ins and trim-outs Perform residential remodel and renovation work Install panels, breakers, generators, lighting, receptacles, and specialty equipment Train and mentor apprentices and helpers Maintain accurate job documentation Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and office staff Follow all company safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and jobsite Qualifications Required Minimum 4 years of residential electrical experience Strong troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass the company's motor vehicle record (MVR) review for employees operating company vehicles Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to work from ladders, lifts, attics, crawl spaces, and other construction environments Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon: Successful completion of a background check Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening Verification of work history and experience Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (if operating a company vehicle) Additional Requirements Must maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment if assigned a company vehicle. Employees operating company vehicles must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company insurance requirements. Any suspension, revocation, or significant change in driving status must be reported immediately. Must be able to work safely and professionally around customers, occupied residences, and other trades.
