INSTRUMENTATION
systems; OR At least three (3) years of work experience in
ELECTRICAL
systems Must be willing to meet the following requirements: Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection) Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis Wear required safety equipment It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s): Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical. Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
The Job You Will Perform:
This position will assist journeymen-level Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion Duties include, but are not limited to:
Instrumentation:
  • Troubleshoot, configure, maintain: PLC systems Single loop controls for various field systems
  • Installation, calibration, troubleshooting various manufactures of analog and SMART instruments and analytical equipment
  • Shop and field repair of final control elements such as pneumatic valves, electric valves, solenoid operated valves, calibration of pneumatic and SMART valve positioners
  • Routine and regulatory calibration of field instruments for boilers and environmental systems
  • Troubleshoot, maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Read and redline loop sheets, P&IDs
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams & electrical schematics
  • Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards
  • Other duties as assigned
Electrician:
Troubleshoot, install, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturers
  • Troubleshoot, install, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photo electric, speed and reflective switches
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on 480v thru 13.8kv power distribution switchgear
  • Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards
  • Other duties as assigned
