This is a project-based contract position with the opportunity for extension based on project needs and performance. You will be responsible for the electrical installation, conduit routing, and wiring of advanced automated production lines, ensuring all work meets rigorous automotive manufacturing standards.

Core Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 1+ years of proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electrical Wireman, strictly within the industrial automotive sector (assembly plants, body shops, stamping, or Tier 1 suppliers).

Location/Commute:

Must currently reside in the Tuscaloosa, AL area, surrounding counties, or have reliable means to commute daily to the plant without relocation assistance.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in industrial conduit bending (EMT, Rigid) and cable tray installation. Proficiency in pulling and terminating power, control, and communication cables in PLC cabinets, junction boxes, and field devices. Ability to read and accurately interpret complex industrial electrical schematics and layouts.

Safety:

Strong commitment to industrial safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and

NFPA 70E

standards. Preferred Qualifications (Plus): Prior experience working on-site or with equipment standards for BMW , Mercedes-Benz, or other premium German automotive OEMs is highly preferred but not mandatory.
