Job Description

Anderson & Company Electric is growing, and we're looking for a licensed journeyman electrician who wants to help build something — not just fill another truck. About Anderson & Company We're a residential and commercial electrical service company built on honest hometown values: show up when we say we will, treat every property like our own, and never sell someone something they don't need. We're still small enough that the right person can genuinely shape how this company grows. Why This Opportunity Is Different We're not a massive corporation, and we're not trying to look like one. Being a growing company is our advantage, not something we hide. The electricians who join us now have a real opportunity to grow into senior service technician, lead technician, field supervisor, trainer, or service manager roles as we expand — based on performance and leadership, not just seniority. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues, with growing commercial work as we expand. Handle panel and service upgrades, lighting and electrical upgrades, and residential installation work. Communicate clearly with customers about what you found and what their options are. Identify legitimate safety concerns or additional needs and present them honestly — no high-pressure sales. Keep your truck, tools, and work area professional and organized. Document jobs properly and represent Anderson & Company well on every call. What We're Looking For Current Arkansas Journeyman Electrician license. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability — you can work through a problem, not just replace parts and hope. Comfortable working independently, without someone standing over you. Willing to call for help when something's outside your knowledge, instead of guessing. Clear communicator who can explain an electrical problem to a homeowner in plain language. Dependable, accountable, and takes pride in the quality of your work. Open to learning better systems and processes as the company grows. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and ability. Paid vacation and paid holidays. Company vehicle, where applicable to the position. Company uniforms provided. Ongoing training and development. Real opportunity for advancement as the company expands. We're a growing company and don't currently offer company health insurance. We're building out our benefits package as we scale, and we'd rather tell you that plainly now than have it be a surprise later. What We Expect This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's by design. We expect integrity, accountability, professionalism, and quality workmanship on every job. We're looking for someone who asks "what can I do to help solve it" instead of "that's not my problem." In return, we're building a company where good people want to stay. Ready to Talk? If you're a skilled, dependable journeyman electrician who takes pride in your work and wants to be part of building something real in Central Arkansas, apply today.
