ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execution of the Planned and Preventive Electrical/Maintenance schedule. Responsible for Installing, Testing, Maintaining and Troubleshooting wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment. Responsible for Troubleshooting Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Pneumatic Systems, Motor Controls, AC/DC Drives, and Medium Voltage Switch Gears. Be able to read and interpret Equipment drawings, PIDs, One Line Diagrams, and Schematics. Effectively Diagnose and Repair Malfunctioning Systems and Components. Improve equipment Reliability and Optimize Resources. Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used. Proficient use of Electrical Test Equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Ammeters, Meggers, and Instrument Loop Calibrators. Ability to install and setup Variable Frequency Drives. Participate in Breakdown Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement, and 5S projects. Ensure all workers adhere to Local, State, and National Codes and Regulations. Perform all other related duties as assigned.Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent education. Electronics Technician Community College Degree or Licensed Journeyman Electrical License. Minimum of 3 years Industrial Electrician. One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience. Ability to work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process. Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies. OSHA 10 Training and Experience. Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Siemens Drive knowledge a plus. Experience with PLC Installation and Troubleshooting, Siemens PLC knowledge a plus. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all Mechanical tasks, jobs, and repairs. Ability to work extended hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces. Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
