Full-Time | Benefits Available Position Overview Chapman Electrical Contracting, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical work and be capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings Install conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, switches, outlets, and control systems Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and repair systems efficiently Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards Coordinate with project managers, apprentices, and other trades on job sites Maintain clean and organized work areas Complete service calls and project tasks in a timely and professional manner Train and mentor apprentices when needed Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license Minimum 3-5 years of electrical experience preferred Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and NEC code requirements Ability to read blueprints and technical documents Experience with commercial and residential projects preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health benefits and paid time off Company vehicle (if applicable) Career advancement opportunities Supportive team environment About Chapman Electrical Contracting, Inc.
