Job Description
The electrician participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repairs of electrical appliances, systems, facilities and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity. 1. Safely and efficiently maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment and power distribution throughout the plant 2. Interpret electrical printouts, installation instructions and work orders 3. Troubleshoot electrical problems in power circuits 4. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of VFD/motors/starters 5. Establish new installation of electrical equipment 6. Perform the essential job functions 7. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Previous Related Work Experience Required:
Minimum of two years of experience in a mining or industrial environment
Education Required:
T wo years of formal technical training in the principles of electricity and electrical design.
High School Diploma or equivalent Special Skills and/or
Knowledge Required:
Ability to read and draw diagrams
Knowledge of AC and DC control circuits
PLC experience
Must be able to identify and analyze electrical/instrumentation problems
Special Equipment/Computer Knowledge Required:
Must provide own tools This position is located in Miami, Arizona.
