Apprentice Electrician

[Leapros] Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Apprentice Electrician in Scottsdale, AZ. The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on various commercial projects across the Phoenix area. This role focuses on running and bending conduit, pulling wire, and supporting lead electricians to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Per Hour BOE Responsibilities:

Install, bend, and run conduit (pipe) to accommodate electrical wiring needs on commercial job sites. Assist in pulling electrical wiring through conduit and connecting to circuit breakers, panels, and fixtures. Support lead electricians in the installation and repair of electrical systems, including lighting and transformers. Interpret and work from basic blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams under supervision. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Perform routine tasks such as digging and back-filling holes or trenches for electrical installations. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety standards. Assist with the troubleshooting of electrical issues to minimize project downtime.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as an apprentice electrician in a commercial construction environment. Proven ability to run and bend conduit/pipe effectively. Possession of necessary hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). Reliable transportation to travel to various commercial project locations across Phoenix. Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to project timelines. Basic knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn complex electrical systems.

Physical Requirements:

Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions, including extreme Arizona heat. Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Must be aware of OSHA safety standards. Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Must be physically capable of manually digging and back-filling holes and trenches. Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $22 to $26 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
