About the
Role:
The Service Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within commercial and residential environments. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and infrastructure to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability. The Service Electrician will work closely with other trades to implement electrical designs and modifications according to industry standards and client specifications. A key outcome of this role is to deliver high-quality electrical service that complies with safety regulations and meets customer expectations. Ultimately, the Service Electrician contributes to the overall success of construction and maintenance projects by providing expert electrical solutions and support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Drivers License. Proven experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work.
MINIMUM 4
years Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency in conduit bending and pipe bending techniques preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with advanced electrical diagnostic tools and testing equipment. Prior experience in a construction environment with a focus on electrical installations. Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate on projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. Bend and install conduit and pipe to route electrical wiring safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wiring and electrical components. Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies during all phases of work. Collaborate with team members and other trades to coordinate project activities and meet deadlines. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities.
Skills:
Requires a minimum of 4 years electrical experience or Electrician Certification. Expertise in electrical design enable the Service Electrician to accurately interpret and implement complex electrical plans. Knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systems allows the electrician to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. These skills are applied daily to ensure compliance with safety standards and to deliver reliable electrical service. Preferred skills, including experience with advanced diagnostic tools and additional certifications, enhance the electrician's ability to address challenging electrical issues and contribute to continuous improvement on job sites.
