What they do
An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Responsibilities:
- Able to perform preventative, predictive, & reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (motors, generators, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems, switchgears, facilities lighting, wiring, etc...)
- Proficient with electrical circuits from 24v to 480v
- Experience with troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs. No programming experience is necessary.
- Capable of interpreting electrical schematics / blueprints
