DIR prevailing wage rate About Us SCS Electric is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician for a prevailing wage project (large multifamily) in the Bay Area, with the potential to work on other jobs in the area. We keep our crews busy with steady, well-run jobs and pay prevailing wage. If you take pride in doing clean, code-compliant work and want a reliable place to put your license to use, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and panels on commercial and multifamily job sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings Work to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Electrical Code, and pass inspections Minimum Requirements Graduate of a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program — proof of graduation required Active California General Electrician certification — valid certification card required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license Eligible to work in the US Preferred Experience on prevailing wage / multifamily projects OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Ability to pass a background check and drug screen English/Spanish speaker Benefits 401(k) Medical insurance available Steady work on active prevailing wage projects How to Apply Apply throughIndeed Job Type:
