Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Skills and Requirements Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician in industrial or commercial settings Proficiency in sizing conductors and conduits and using the NEC Code Book Experience handling electrical systems from low to high voltage up to 480 VAC; medium voltage experience is a plus Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics Capability to test and commission work according to Tesla procedures and building department codes Strong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on electrical hazards and safety procedures Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft.
