Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Trainee to join our dynamic electrical team. This paid internship position offers hands-on experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across various construction and industrial sites. As an Electrician Trainee, you will work closely with licensed electricians to develop your skills in electrical wiring, conduit bending, blueprint reading, and safety procedures. This role is ideal for individuals eager to build a solid foundation in electrical work while contributing to meaningful projects that power commercial and industrial environments. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with electrical wiring and system installation on construction sites and industrial facilities Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately Support conduit bending, electrical wiring, and the installation of low voltage systems under supervision Follow all electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance standards and NEC guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection logs and safety documentation Participate in safety protocol adherence meetings and contribute to a culture of safety on all job sites Skills Basic understanding of electrical systems installation and maintenance Experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics with guidance Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters Knowledge of conduit bending techniques and electrical wiring practices Strong commitment to following electrical safety procedures and safety protocols adherence Familiarity with low voltage systems, NFPA 70 standards (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety), and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements Construction site experience is highly desirable for understanding project workflows and safety expectations This paid Electrician Trainee position provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive environment dedicated to your growth.
