Journeyman Electrician GA Technical Services Inc Glendora, CA Job Details Full-time $60 - $80 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Electrical License Outdoor work experience Restoration OSHA 10 Occupational Safety And Health Administration Outreach Training Program 30-Hour High school diploma or GED Driver's License Electrical experience Journeyman Electrician Full Job Description GA Technical Services, Inc. is currently hiring experienced Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for an active California Department of Corrections (CDCR) project involving EV charging infrastructure, underground electrical, conduit installation, switchgear, panel work, and site electrical construction . We have numerous projects throughout California and you must be willing to travel. This is a prevailing wage public works project with immediate work available. Job Duties Install EMT, rigid conduit, underground raceways, and pull boxes Pull and terminate low-voltage and power conductors Install EV charging equipment and associated electrical infrastructure Assist with trenching, saw cutting, backfilling, and site restoration Install panelboards, switchboards, transformers, and electrical equipment Read and interpret electrical plans and specifications Follow all OSHA and prison facility safety/security procedures Maintain clean and organized work areas Requirements Electrical construction experience required Experience on commercial, industrial, or public works projects preferred Must be able to pass CDCR prison clearance/background screening Clean background strongly preferred (no recent felony convictions or issues that may prevent prison access) Valid California Driver's License Ability to work outdoors and in active construction environments Must be reliable, punctual, and professional Preferred Qualifications State Certified Electrician Card Experience with EV infrastructure projects Experience with medium voltage, switchgear, or site electrical work OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Prevailing wage/public works experience
