Electrical Service Technician & Installer Vista Universal, Inc. — Hayward, CA Vista Universal, Inc., a lighting and electrical services contractor proudly serving California since 1972, is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician & Installer to join our Hayward team. This position supports customers throughout the Greater Bay Area and requires a dependable, skilled technician who can deliver high‑quality service in the field. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and install branch circuits, devices, and related electrical components Perform LED retrofits, repairs, and general lighting service Install commercial lighting fixtures, including high‑mast systems Diagnose and repair lighting controls, switches, sensors, and signage Operate aerial lifts and service trucks for maintenance, retrofits, and repairs Required Experience & Qualifications This is not an entry level position. Previous on-the-job hands on experience is required Previous electrical and lighting service experience Flexible availability — day, night, weekend, and on‑call work as needed Reliable transportation Ability to perform occasional out‑of‑town and overnight work (required) Clean driving record with current DMV printout (last 3 years) — mandatory Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Team‑oriented mindset Must have personal hand tools and electric power tools DIR/ET # required Job requires reporting to Shop in Hayward daily.
