An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be proficient and comfortable working with large 3 PHz services and switchgear. Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace solar devices and systems. Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs. Installation, MPU's, Photo documentation and electrical inspection work to be performed. Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment. Help Management optimize electrical on projects if needed. Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops. Plans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a team environmentQUALIFICATIONS
