An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

We are currently hiring ropers for a multi-family project in Napa, CA.ResponsibilitiesRough and trim multifamily unitsInstall electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for electrical systemsExecute plans of electrical wiring for properly functioning lighting, power and Low Voltage SystemsQualificationsElectrical Trainee card (This is a must)OSHA 10Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulationsProven experience as an electrician in residential and commercial settingAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment common to the tradePhysical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
