This is a contract opportunity for a hands-on professional with experience performing commercial electrical and low-voltage installations. The ideal candidate has 2+ field experience, strong conduit and cabling installation skills, and the ability to support project-based work requiring occasional travel. This role is well suited for a licensed technician who enjoys hands-on installation work and supporting mission-critical infrastructure deployments.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical and low-voltage installation activities supporting telecommunications infrastructure, network systems, and facility upgrades. Perform Inside Plant (ISP) installation activities, including cable routing, rack installation, equipment connections, cable management, and labeling. Support Outside Plant (OSP) activities, including pathway installation, cable placement, and infrastructure support. Install and work with electrical circuits, panels, grounding and bonding systems, UPS systems, PDUs, and related infrastructure components. Install and bend EMT conduit, including 1" and 2" EMT, performing 90-degree bends, offsets, saddles, and back-to-back bends. Perform cable terminations, certification testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and installation documentation. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and customer requirements. Maintain a safe work environment while working in construction, telecommunications, and outdoor field environments.
