An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our facilities and property operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working in commercial and industrial buildings and be comfortable working with high-power electrical systems and distribution equipment . Responsibilities Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in commercial buildings. Work with high-voltage/high-amperage electrical distribution systems and building electrical infrastructure. Troubleshoot electrical issues involving panels, breakers, disconnects, lighting, controls, and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and equipment documentation. Assist with electrical projects, tenant improvements, equipment installations, and building upgrades. Coordinate with contractors and other building maintenance personnel as needed. Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow applicable electrical codes and safety requirements. Respond to electrical emergencies and building-related service calls when necessary. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred. Strong experience working with commercial building electrical systems and power distribution. Experience with high-amperage electrical equipment and large commercial electrical services. Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems independently and efficiently. Knowledge of NEC requirements and general electrical safety practices. Ability to read electrical plans, schematics, and one-line diagrams. Experience with commercial lighting, HVAC electrical systems, motors, controls, and building equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, safety-minded, and experienced in commercial facilities . This is not a residential electrician position. Candidates should be comfortable working around large electrical services, high-amperage equipment, commercial HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and other building infrastructure.

Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.

$34.20 - $50.00 per hour
