Job Description

Shop Lead - Electrician Sunbelt Solomon United States, California, Riverside Jun 17, 2026 As a Rental Foreman, you'll be a working leader-applying your electrical expertise while managing a team of a Rental Technician and a Shipper/Receiver. You'll ensure all rental equipment is operational, organized, and ready for deployment, while maintaining a safe and efficient facility. Lead and coordinate daily tasks for the Rental Team
Oversee preparation, inspection, testing, and repair of rental and sales equipment
Ensure timely shipping, receiving, and documentation of all rental and sale equipment
Manage preventative maintenance schedules and quality assurance standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, yard, and workspaces
Coordinate staffing needs and workloads to meet customer deadlines
Respond to after-hours calls as required
Monitor and uphold safety procedures, facility standards, and team accountability Equipment includes: Automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, dry/padmount/substation transformers, cable, motor starters, breakers, splitters, and more across a range of voltages and amperage levels. Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified electrician (Journeyman or equivalent)
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a shop or field environment
Strong background in industrial/commercial electrical work (high and low voltage)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical layouts
Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and training team members
Able to lift/move heavy equipment (100+ lbs.), work at heights, and confined spaces
Willingness to work outside regular hours for after-hours calls as needed
