Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize advanced tools and schematics, and contribute to safe and efficient electrical operations. 100% Federal (Davis Bacon)and State prevailing projects Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and construction drawings to execute precise installations. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Work on low voltage and high voltage systems ensuring compliance with safety standards and NEC regulations. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and general handyman duties related to electrical work. Conduct routine inspections on industrial and commercial electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure safety. Requirements Valid state certified electrician with proven experience in industrial and commercial environments. Demonstrated experience working on construction sites involving renovation or new installations. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters. Knowledge of NEC standards for safe electrical practices across various applications. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and project managers effectively.
