This hands-on role focuses on the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment — with particular emphasis on pumps, filling machines, heat packing/sealing systems, and general electrical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on pumps, filling machines, heat packing/sealing equipment, conveyors, and associated electrical systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on production line equipment. Maintain, calibrate, and optimize pumps (centrifugal, positive displacement, diaphragm, etc.) and filling systems for accuracy and efficiency. Service heat packing machines, including heating elements, temperature controls, sealers, and related components. Install, calibrate, and commission new equipment and electrical components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and equipment manuals. Maintain accurate records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve line performance. Ensure full compliance with

OSHA, NEC, NFPA

70E, and company safety standards. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to comprehend new equipment, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Must be able to for after hour on-call Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred. Valid Electrical Certification (Journeyman Electrician, Electrical Technician Certificate, NFPA 70E, or equivalent). 3+ years of hands-on experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or packaging environment. Proven experience with pumps, filling machines, and heat packing/sealing equipment . Strong knowledge of general electrical systems , AC/DC circuits, control panels, sensors, VFDs, and motor controls. Ability to read electrical drawings, ladder logic, and mechanical diagrams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.). Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Additional certifications in welding, forklift operation, or aerial lifts. Background in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods packaging. Skills & Competencies Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for both electrical and mechanical systems. Strong safety awareness and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good communication and documentation skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in varying temperatures.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
