As a Residential Electrician, you will play a vital role in our Construction Estimating team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential buildings and homes. In addition to your hands-on electrical work, you will also be involved in the assessment and estimation of costs related to these projects, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of our services.Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential properties Conduct comprehensive cost estimations for electrical work in construction projects Collaborate with the construction team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects Maintain detailed records and documentation related to electrical work and cost estimates Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practicesQualifications:
Demonstrated experience as a Residential Electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction, and the electrical industry - Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting for electrical projects - Proficiency with Vantage (old and new), HOMEWORK, or SPAN (at least 1 of the 3) Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Must have Electrician certificationWorking Conditions:
This position will involve a mix of office-based and on-site work, with the majority of time spent at residential construction sites. The work environment can be physically demanding, with the need to stand, climb, and lift heavy equipment. A flexible schedule, including occasional evening and weekend work, may be required to accommodate project timelines.Compensation:
This is a temporary-to-hire position with a target pay range of $25- $30 per hour. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer opportunities for professional development.
