Industrial and Agricultural Electrician! Job Description This role focuses on industrial, agricultural, and commercial electrical work, including dairies, supermarkets, and occasional new residential projects. You will perform a wide range of electrical tasks such as pipe bending, conduit installation, wire pulling, fixture installation, and motor control and PLC troubleshooting. The position requires a well-rounded electrician who is comfortable handling diverse duties rather than specializing in a single area. Responsibilities Install, bend, thread, and run various types of conduit, including EMT and OCAL, in industrial, agricultural, commercial, and occasional residential settings. Pull wire and install electrical fixtures, ensuring safe, neat, and code-compliant installations. Troubleshoot and repair motor controls and PLC-related issues in industrial and agricultural environments such as dairies and supermarkets. Interpret and work from electrical schematics and diagrams to complete installations and repairs accurately. Perform general electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in commercial and industrial systems. Work on a variety of projects, including industrial facilities, dairies, supermarkets, and new residential work as needed. Collaborate closely with a team of electricians, contributing to a respectful, family-like work culture. Take on all aspects of the job, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to perform any duty required, rather than focusing on a single specialty. Maintain a strong safety mindset and follow all applicable codes, standards, and company procedures. Participate in training and on-the-job learning opportunities, especially when expanding skills into new areas of electrical work. Essential Skills Proven experience as a well-rounded electrician with exposure to industrial, agricultural, and/or commercial environments. Strong skills in pipe bending, including bending and threading conduit such as EMT and OCAL. Hands-on experience pulling wire and installing electrical fixtures in a variety of settings. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot motor controls and PLC-related issues. Proficiency in general electrical troubleshooting across commercial and industrial systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and related documentation. Relevant experience in commercial or industrial electrical fields. Possession of an ET card or Journeyman Card. Valid driver record meeting company standards, with a DMV report showing minimal points and no DUI. Willingness to perform all aspects of the job and not limit work to a single specialty. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in industrial and dairy facilities. Experience servicing supermarkets and similar commercial environments. Comfort working with different types of conduit systems, including EMT and OCAL. Eagerness to learn and openness to training in new areas of electrical work. Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team and contribute to a respectful, supportive environment. Strong work ethic with reliability and consistency in attendance and performance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
