Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Licensed Journeyman Electrician Residential Foreman to lead and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish. This dynamic role involves managing a team of electricians, coordinating installation and repair tasks, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, and delivering top-quality service to clients. As a key leader on the job site, you will drive project efficiency, uphold safety standards, and foster a collaborative work environment. Your expertise in residential electrical systems, schematics, and construction site management will be instrumental in completing projects on time and within scope. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while working on diverse residential renovation and new construction projects. Duties Lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes Coordinate daily work schedules, material deliveries, and project timelines to maximize productivity Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, and industrial controls such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues accurately Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes during all phases of work Oversee the safe use of construction site equipment such as scaffolding, frame carpentry tools, and hand tools Conduct inspections of completed work to verify adherence to schematics and safety protocols Manage documentation including shift reports, incident logs, and project progress updates Mentor apprentices and junior electricians to develop their skills in residential wiring techniques Experience Valid Journeyman Electrician license with proven experience in residential electrical installations Extensive knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and industrial electrician tasks Prior experience leading construction or renovation projects on residential sites Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems is a plus Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices effectively Strong understanding of construction site safety practices including OSHA regulations Ability to read technical schematics and perform troubleshooting based on wiring diagrams Experience with renovation projects involving framing carpentry or handyman skills is advantageous Minimum of 4 yrs as a
