•35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications About the Position JuJu Electric is a small, family-owned electrical contracting company based out of Greeley, Colorado . We primarily service Northern Colorado . Depending on the project, our work can take us outside of our normal Northern Colorado service area. We perform residential, commercial, and industrial remodels, maintenance, service work, and new construction. Because we are a small company, our electricians get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and are not limited to doing the same task every day. We are looking for a licensed Residential Wireman who is dependable, takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable working directly in customers' homes. This is a Part-Time Position This position is part-time, with the possibility of working full-time hours when work is available. Our workload changes from week to week, so there are no guaranteed minimum or maximum hours each week . Some days may have only a few hours of work, while other days may have 8-10 hours or more. If we have 40 hours of work available, we would love to give those hours to the right employee. However, full-time hours are not guaranteed . We are flexible with scheduling and availability when possible, as long as there is good communication. Responsibilities The Residential Wireman will be expected to perform residential electrical work with a high level of independence and professionalism. Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, service, maintenance, remodels, and new construction Work independently or alongside other electricians and apprentices depending on the project Properly lay out residential electrical systems before and during construction Determine appropriate locations for lighting, switches, receptacles, equipment, and other electrical components Understand residential electrical code requirements and apply them correctly to each project Wire residential spaces in a safe, professional manner that meets applicable electrical codes and is capable of passing electrical inspection Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and diagrams Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify problems Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, breakers, panels, and other electrical equipment Work on basement remodels, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential projects Perform work in attics, crawlspaces, and other physically demanding areas Occasionally work in confined spaces when the project requires it Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other electrical equipment safely and properly Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate professionally with homeowners, customers, contractors, and other trades Communicate material needs, project concerns, code questions, and changes to the appropriate person Follow NEC requirements, Colorado electrical requirements, OSHA requirements, and company safety procedures Maintain quality workmanship while working efficiently Work alongside and train/mentor electrical apprentices Provide appropriate direction and instruction to apprentices while maintaining responsibility for the quality and safety of the work being performed Residential Electrical Knowledge The person hired for this position needs to have a solid understanding of residential electrical codes and proper residential layout . For example, on a basement remodel, the Residential Wireman should be able to look at the space and determine how to properly lay out and wire: Lighting Switches Receptacles Dedicated circuits

protection where required Bathroom electrical Kitchen and kitchenette electrical Laundry electrical Bedroom electrical Smoke and carbon monoxide detection Other required residential electrical components The expectation is that the employee can understand the applicable requirements, properly lay out the electrical system, perform the work safely, and produce an installation that meets code and can pass electrical inspection. Working With Apprentices JuJu Electric is a small company, and our electricians may work alongside an apprentice. The Residential Wireman needs to be comfortable teaching and training an apprentice while completing the job. We are looking for someone who can explain what needs to be done, demonstrate proper techniques, answer questions, and help an apprentice develop their skills. The right person understands that training an apprentice is part of being a good electrician and does not simply expect the apprentice to "figure it out." Customer Homes & Customer Service A large part of this position involves working independently in customers' homes . The employee must be comfortable entering and working in homes of different ages, sizes, and conditions. This can include older homes, newer construction, remodels, unfinished spaces, basements, attics, and crawlspaces. We need someone who understands that when you are in a customer's home, you are representing JuJu Electric .

Qualifications Required:
Valid Colorado Residential Wireman license Employee is responsible for maintaining their electrical license and keeping it current Demonstrated residential electrical experience Strong understanding of residential electrical codes Ability to properly lay out residential electrical systems Ability to work independently in customers' homes Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems Ability to read and understand electrical plans and diagrams Ability and willingness to train and work with an apprentice Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Reliable and dependable Professional appearance and attitude Strong communication skills Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform the physical duties associated with residential electrical construction and service work.

Work in attics Work in crawlspaces Work in unfinished basements Work in confined spaces Climb ladders Work from lifts when necessary Bend, kneel, crawl, reach, and work in awkward positions Lift and carry electrical materials and tools Work indoors and outdoors depending on the project Applicants should be comfortable with the physical demands of residential electrical work. Company Vehicles Employees must maintain a clean driving record in order to be eligible to operate a company vehicle. When an employee is assigned a company vehicle: The workday begins at the JuJu Electric shop in Greeley The employee drives the company vehicle to the job site as directed The workday ends when the employee returns the company vehicle to the Greeley shop Company vehicles are not taken home by employees Eligibility to operate a company vehicle is dependent on maintaining an acceptable driving record and meeting company requirements.

We are looking for a Residential Wireman who understands the job from start to finish —someone who can walk into a residential project, understand what needs to be done, properly lay out the electrical system, perform the work according to code, troubleshoot problems, and communicate with the customer. We need someone who can be trusted to work independently in a customer's home without constant supervision.
