Title:

Lead Residential Electrician The Lead Electrician is part of Fox Valley Electric's Operations team. As a skilled member of the team, the Lead Electrician will lead the field installation of electrical components for high-end custom residential projects. Lead Electrician will report status of job to Field Superintendent. The ideal candidate will provide electrical expertise that will contribute to the overall success by guiding a team of apprentices on multiple custom home projects in the Boulder County area. Company Vehicle provided.

Responsibilities:

Residential electrical installations including everything from layout through finish trim Work with apprentices and leadership to evaluate job requirements and cost Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues Lead efforts on safe work practices for the Field Operations team Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process by educating customers about the home installation process and product(s) and offering real-time updates on job status Document and update job status in the company database Perform other related duties, as assigned Requirements 8-10 years Journeyman Electrician experience in residential construction Understanding of NEC codes Ability to independently manage the operational aspects of residential construction projects. Comfortable working outdoors and on active job sites in a variety of weather conditions Position may require working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs Capable of performing repetitious duties, including lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time Experience using basic hand and power tools Basic computer and smartphone skills required Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have excellent customer service skills Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, panel boards, batteries, light fixtures and other similar electrical equipment, etc

Role Location:

Corporate Headquarters in Lafayette, Colorado. Currently building homes in Boulder, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Longmont, and Broomfield Colorado.

Range:

$35/hour - $38/hour based on experience
