Per Diem:
$100/day (up to 5 days per week) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for a renewable energy substation project at the NextEra Energy Resources South Platte facility in Fort Morgan, Colorado. This position will focus on underground electrical work, conduit installation, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting the electrical infrastructure that connects renewable energy generation to the power grid. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale renewable energy project with competitive pay and per diem. Responsibilities Perform underground electrical installation and maintenance Install and run conduit systems Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment Maintain and repair high-voltage electrical infrastructure Support construction and maintenance of substation equipment Follow all site safety procedures and project requirements Work effectively with project management and field personnel Qualifications Active Journeyman Electrician License (Required) IRA Compliant (Required) Experience with underground electrical work and conduit installation Experience working on substations, utility projects, renewable energy facilities, or industrial electrical systems preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking Bending, kneeling, and twisting Climbing ladders and structures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding construction tasks safely PPE & Tools Site-specific PPE will be provided Employees must provide their own work boots Pre-Employment Requirements 5-Panel Drug Screen Required 7-
