Maintenance Electrician (E1/E2) Position Summary The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position works to ensure safe, reliable operation of machinery while minimizing downtime and supporting production requirements. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems on manufacturing equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility electrical systems. Install and modify electrical components, wiring, motors, and controls. Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production operations. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Qualifications Valid E1 or E2 Electrical License. Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and machinery. Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical testing equipment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment Manufacturing/industrial facility. Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency repairs as needed. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing and industrial facility with a variety of production machinery and automated equipment. The work involves hands-on tasks around conveyors, motors, drives, pumps, control systems, and robotics, often in active production areas. You should be comfortable working in an environment with industrial noise, moving equipment, and adherence to strict safety procedures, including appropriate personal protective equipment. The schedule may require overtime and availability to respond to emergency repairs as needed to support continuous operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Gilman, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
