▶ Apply Industrial Electrician Meriden, Connecticut - Posted on August 17, 2026 Published By Brian Polevacik Trillium is now seeking Industrial Electricians for direct-hire in Meriden, CT! Pay rate is $38-$42/hour. This is primarily a first shift position, M-F, 7AM -3PM. Electricians will work in a climate controlled, air-conditioned manufacturing facility, 400,000 square feet. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role supports safe, reliable plant operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and production machinery
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and facility electrical projects
  • Support equipment reliability and uptime initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, and company safety policies
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Apply now!
  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
  • Strong knowledge of 3-phase power, control circuits, and industrial automation
  • Ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and respond to production priorities
  • Exposure to PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems
  • Electrical License required per State of CT requirements
  • Technical or trade school preferred
