The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices, as well as the ability to work with both low and high voltage systems. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Troubleshoot electrical issues using various testing devices such as an ohmmeter. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including frame carpentry when necessary. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy materials or standing for long periods. Certification or licensure as an E2 Electrician •required•
