Electrician Job Description The Electrician is responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction projects or commericial/industrial facilities. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and work orders. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment. Be able to bend rigid and EMT conduit. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. Perform quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets project standards. Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project progress. Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Essential Skills Proficient in electrical, conduit, and wiring installation. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Skilled in reading blueprints and electrical drawings. Experience in conduit bending and cable pulling. Familiarity with low voltage systems.
