Electrician

Job Overview Blue Water Industries, a growing aggregate producer, is currently hiring for an electrician to service multiple operations in Central Florida. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Job Description:

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems for surface aggregate processing plants and support facilities. Field based role requiring hands on participation. Change out, install or repair electrical components such as motors, starters, fuses, circuit breakers, conduit, controls, etc. Perform ground continuity testing. Must have experience with 480 volt, three phase systems. Must be able to work as an individual and also serve in a leadership role when assistance is required. Complete work in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Work closely with any outside contracted vendors to meet deadlines and complete capital improvement projects. Willing to share knowledge and train others. Support the Blue Water safety culture and perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and MSHA regulations.

Requirements:

Certified / licensed Industrial Electrician preferred 5 years' experience in aggregates or similar industry desired Must have working knowledge of current National Electric Code Experience with both 480v and 4160v Must be able to lift and maneuver items weighing at least 50 pounds Must have valid driver's license Ability to travel within the assigned area, overnight stays occasionally. Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as the job requires. Must be willing to be on call Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Working knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems required Skilled in the use of hand tools, test instruments and electrical construction tools Experience with PLC's and Automation systems preferred (Rockwell, Allen Bradley)
