Electrician

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on commercial and industrial job sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Duties Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform electrical tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as directed by senior electricians. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards. Participate in framing carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Experience Previous experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is preferred but not mandatory for candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment is essential. Understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents is highly valued. Prior experience on construction sites will be beneficial for adapting quickly to job requirements. A strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and develop skills in the electrical trade is crucial.
