Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Electrician Helper specializing in commercial projects! This energetic role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your electrical skills while supporting skilled electricians on construction sites. You will assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial buildings, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of electrical tasks. Duties Assist licensed electricians in installing and repairing electrical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, strip, and connect wiring and components Support the setup and operation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate installation Help with the use of testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Support framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when needed Qualifications Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters Basic understanding of electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, and NEC standards Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for electrical projects Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills Ability to support electricians in installing wiring, conduit, fixtures, and other electrical components Knowledge of frame carpentry related to electrical installations is a plus This role requires a motivated individual eager to learn the ins-and-outs of commercial electrical work while contributing to impactful projects. $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
