If so, Solar Champs is seeking a versatile Journeyman Electrician or Foreman to join our rapidly growing company. We are based in the vibrant regions of Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade and are looking for someone who is proficient in handling a wide range of electrical systems, including generators, battery back-up systems, streetlights, low-voltage and high-voltage systems, and switchgears.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the installation and commissioning of diverse electrical systems, including generators, battery back-ups, streetlights, and both low and high-voltage electrical systems. Perform high-quality, safe electrical work while ensuring adherence to all building standards and codes. Collaborate with project managers, teams, and clients to ensure that each installation meets or exceeds customer expectations. Handle a wide range of tasks, from trenching and running wire to installing switchgears and performing system diagnostics. Ensure the safe operation of all equipment and tools, following safety protocols and regulations on all jobsites. Work with the warehouse and project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment. Provide leadership and guidance to junior electricians and trainees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience and expertise in electrical systems, including streetlights, sports field lights, switchgears, and both low and high-voltage systems. Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Solid background in reading and interpreting building plans, blueprints, and manuals to ensure accurate installations. Ability to work in a variety of environments, from residential homes to large commercial sites. Strong physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds frequently and work at heights or in extreme conditions. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Minimum of 3+ years of electrical experience required, with a Journeyman Electrical License or State Certified Electrician credentials. Vocational or technical school training preferred. Experience working with energy systems, such as Enphase Battery, Tesla Battery, Generac Generators, and EV Charging Stations, is a bonus. Why Join Solar Champs?
