Job Description
- Job Title: Electrician
- Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm
- Location: Jacksonville, Florida, 32258
- Pay: $30-35/hour
- Job Description
- This role offers an experienced electrician the opportunity to work in a stable environment with consistent hours, focusing on running wire, installing and bending conduit, and supporting electrical systems in a construction setting.
It is particularly well suited for a seasoned tradesperson who has completed the more physically demanding phases of their career and now seeks a reliable schedule and steady workload while continuing to apply their technical expertise.
- Responsibilities
- + Run electrical wire safely and efficiently according to project specifications and applicable codes.
+ Install, route, and secure conduit, including measuring, cutting, and bending conduit to fit specific layouts.
+ Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to complete installations and modifications accurately.
+ Assist with electrical construction tasks, including the installation and connection of electrical components and systems.
+ Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify issues and support repairs or adjustments.
+ Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, standards, and best practices on the job site.
+ Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store tools, materials, and equipment.
+ Collaborate with other trades and team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects on schedule.
- Essential Skills
- + Proven experience as an electrician working in construction or related environments.
+ Strong ability to run electrical wire in a variety of settings while maintaining neat and organized installations.
+ Demonstrated skill in installing and working with conduit, including cutting, threading, and bending.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
+ Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in electrical systems.
+ Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and safe use of tools and equipment.
+ Capability to perform physical tasks associated with running wire and installing conduit, such as lifting, bending, and working on ladders.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience in general electrical construction work, including new installations and retrofits. + Experience as a tradesperson or journeyman electrician seeking a more stable schedule and work environment. + Comfort working both independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently. + Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $30.
00 - $39.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
