Key Responsibilities Layout of electrical per plans and local codes Insure all electric is installed per plan and code Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications Direct the work of apprentices and helpers to ensure that work orders are handled properly Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Knowledge of electrical plans and local codes 4 plus years' experience in Residential electrical construction Clean driving history Poses and maintain required tools Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen On call is required once a month High school diploma or equivalent Benefits Health, Vision and Dental plans Life, Critical Care, ST Disability and Hospital Indemnity Insurance available. 9 Paid holidays and vacation that increases with tenure Company holiday party and regular branch celebrations 401k plan with Employer match We promote from within
