In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial construction sites and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to complex upgrades, utilizing your industrial electrician experience and technical proficiency with low and high voltage systems. Your hands-on approach and attention to detail will drive the success of our electrical operations, contributing to safe, efficient, and reliable electrical infrastructure. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute electrical layouts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and test equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation and control functions. Conduct inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with NEC standards, safety protocols, and project specifications. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects involving framing carpentry, schematics interpretation, and general handyman tasks. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including incident reports and inspection logs while adhering to safety regulations at all times. Experience Proven commercial electrician experience with a strong background in construction site environments. Industrial electrician experience preferred for handling complex control systems and automation tasks. Skilled in working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems across diverse settings. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and using testing tools such as ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, renovation projects, frame carpentry, and general handyman tasks. Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical installations combined with practical experience on construction sites. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
