This energetic role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in both industrial and commercial electrical environments. Your contribution will help ensure electrical projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code standards, supporting the seamless operation of essential electrical infrastructure. Duties Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for electrical work. Help interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installation and troubleshooting. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, conduit benders, and power tools to perform wiring tasks and conduit installations. Assist with electrical wiring of commercial electrical systems, low voltage systems, and electrical components following safety procedures. Operate testing devices including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot issues. Follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites while adhering to all safety procedures related to electrical work. Qualifications Previous experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is highly preferred. Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams is essential. Hands-on experience with conduit bending, electrical wiring, and installation of electrical systems is a plus. Proficiency with testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters is required for troubleshooting tasks. Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and NEC regulations ensures safe and code-compliant work practices. Construction site experience combined with a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures is necessary.
