Job Description

Senior Electrical Supervisor Location:
Miami-Dade County, FL Contract Type:
Full-Time At CARSAN , we are looking for a qualified Senior Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Journeyman with at least 2 years of proven experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical projects. Candidates must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician certification/license or Foreman qualification/experience , as applicable to the position and local requirements. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising and performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities while ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Responsibilities Repair and install wiring and electrical systems in residential, industrial, and commercial environments. Perform installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including electrical lines, fixtures, switches, outlets, and related equipment. Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities in accordance with project plans and schedules. Ensure all work is performed safely, considering the safety of employees, contractors, and the public. Perform low-voltage electrical connections, including switches, outlets, luminaires, and other devices. Install electrical conduits, including EMT, rigid conduit, cable trays, and other raceway systems. Install and wire service entrances, feeders to electrical panels, and branch circuits. Install, assemble, wire, and connect electrical panels in electrical and technical rooms. Install wiring for communication, data, security, and low-voltage systems. Perform operation and maintenance activities on electric motors and control equipment. Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, specifications, and single-line diagrams. Coordinate and supervise electrical crews and field activities when required. Verify the quality and proper execution of electrical installations. Create chases in masonry walls and concrete floors when required for electrical installations. Perform excavations in natural and compacted terrain for underground conduit installation. Create penetrations in masonry walls for conduit and electrical system installation. Perform or supervise excavations required for foundations and pole installations. Identify field issues and support troubleshooting and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, supervision, or related electrical construction activities. Valid Journeyman Electrician certification/license or Foreman qualification/experience. Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical projects. Strong knowledge of electrical installations, wiring methods, conduit systems, panels, feeders, and branch circuits. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction plans. Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety requirements. Experience supervising or coordinating electrical crews is preferred. Ability to identify electrical issues and perform troubleshooting. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and coordinate field activities.
