Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our electrical team. In this role, you will assist a licensed electrician in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various residential sites. This position offers an excellent opportunity to use & further develop your skills in electrical systems installation while working alongside experienced electricians. Responsibilities Have a high standard for showing up at the company office on time and working along side a licensed electrician with installing electrical wiring, conduit bending, and electrical systems. Willing to learn all aspects of residential electric installation & repair. Support the setup and operation of power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Learn & follow all electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance (National Fire Protection Association standards for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations. Help with the installation of residential electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and other electrical infrastructure on construction jobsites. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely. Experience Prior experience working as an electrician helper or apprentice in residential settings is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with electrical wiring & conduit bending is beneficial. Ability to learn construction site procedures, safety protocols, and NFPA 70 standards is required. Knowledge of low voltage systems and the use of power tools such as drills and saws is necessary. Electrical experience in residential environments will be considered an asset. Willingness to learn & follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
