Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical drawings and blueprints , as well as hands-on experience with pipe bending and running MC cable . This role involves working on various commercial and/or residential projects, ensuring all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Install, bend, and secure electrical conduit (EMT, RMC, etc.) to code using hand or hydraulic benders Run and terminate MC (Metal-Clad) cable in various environments Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and equipment Perform wire pulls, box installations, and panel terminations Adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety standards Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Accurately document work and report progress to supervisors

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred Valid Electrician's license or journeyman certification (as required by local/state law) 2+ years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Proficient in pipe bending techniques and using benders (hand, Chicago, etc.) Skilled in installing and routing MC cable Familiar with tools, materials, and methods used in electrical installations Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces)
