Only candidates with sufficient commercial electrical experience will be considered. As a Commercial Electrical Technician, you will... Complete all required work documentation, including daily reports, material lists, and project updates. Use a tablet and company software to electronically document work performed. Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and project plans. Install and terminate electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, and distribution equipment. Install various types of conduit systems, cable tray systems, and wiring methods. Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, controls, and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on commercial electrical systems. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NEC requirements and local codes. Adhere to all company quality standards and safety procedures. Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure successful project completion. Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians. Work in commercial environments including office buildings, retail spaces, industrial facilities, schools, healthcare facilities, and other commercial projects. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installation practices. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently. Ability to provide decisive, focused leadership on job sites. Ability to effectively direct and motivate apprentices and team members. Ability to functionally use a tablet and mobile software applications for work-related purposes. Ability to safely climb ladders, work from lifts, operate in confined spaces, dig trenches, install conduit, and pull wire as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Requirements:
3-5 years of commercial electrical experience Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and electrical systems Experience working with three-phase and single-phase systems Ability to troubleshoot commercial electrical systems independently Experience reading blueprints and electrical drawings Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Bilingual (Preferred) High School Diploma or equivalent Must pass a background check Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
