Company Description Contigo Electric, Inc. is a commercial electrical contractor specializing in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, renovations, and commercial buildouts. We provide comprehensive electrical services including electrical distribution, lighting and controls, branch power, equipment connections, and complete electrical installations. Contigo Electric works closely with general contractors, owners, and project teams to deliver safe, organized, and high-quality electrical projects from start through completion. Position Overview We are currently hiring for an upcoming commercial project in the West Palm Bay area with a fast-approaching start date. Contigo Electric is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians to join the project team. Electricians will perform commercial electrical installations in accordance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and direction from the project Superintendent and Foreman. We are looking for dependable electricians who take pride in their workmanship, understand commercial construction environments, and can work efficiently as part of a coordinated field team. Responsibilities Install conduit, raceways, boxes, supports, and electrical equipment. Measure, bend, cut, thread, and install conduit using appropriate tools and equipment. Pull, route, identify, and terminate conductors and cables. Install panels, disconnects, transformers, lighting, switches, receptacles, and other electrical devices. Perform branch power, lighting, and equipment installations. Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, details, schedules, and specifications. Perform electrical connections and terminations as assigned. Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and system startup. Identify installation or field coordination issues and communicate them to project supervision. Work efficiently with electricians, helpers, supervisors, and other trades to support the project schedule. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow all company and project safety procedures and PPE requirements. Complete punch-list and project closeout work as required. Qualifications Commercial electrical construction experience. Strong understanding of electrical installation methods and electrical fundamentals. Experience installing conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, devices, and electrical equipment. Ability to read and understand electrical plans and construction drawings. Ability to safely and effectively use electrical hand tools and power tools. Working knowledge of the NEC and safe electrical work practices. Ability to measure and bend conduit accurately. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a field team. Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with commercial electrical construction. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the project site. Journeyman credential, electrical certification, or equivalent training preferred where applicable.
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
